The Kanawha Ski Club is made up of some of the greatest people in the Charleston, WV area. The members enjoy KSC sponsored trips both locally (Snowshoe, Timberline, Winterplace, Canaan Valley) and throughout the country (Vail, Aspen, Steamboat Springs, etc.) In addition to the ski trips, the club holds spring and fall mountain biking tours, an annual summer membership picnic, and other seasonal activities such as rafting, volleyball, golf, in-line skating and a beach trip to the Crescent Ski Council skier's convention. Some of the "ski club" members don't even ski!

In addition to meeting and socializing with people with similar interests in skiing and other outdoor activities, being a member of KSC has other benefits: group discounts for trips, discounts from local merchants, the chance to buy quality used gear during the club's annual Swap Shop; someone at your skill level with whom to ski, skate or bike; and advice and information from other club members and speakers.
